Toy Fair is an annual industry trade show hosted by the Toy Industry Association each February in New York City. It began in February 1903 and initially featured less than ten toy companies! In 2013, the trade show featured 1,500 manufacturers, distributors, importers, and sales agents for 30 countries! Nearly 9,500 buyers from 5,000 retail outlets attend. Overall, there were an estimated 30,000 attendees from 92 countries.
Needless to say, it’s a very important event for us here at Schoenhut Piano Company. Len Trinca, the company’s CEO, designs all the aspects of the booth and spends months perfecting details. The team at the office starts preparing for the Toy Fair as soon as the last Toy Fair show is over! The warehouse team members work tireously putting the booth design together to ensure it’s up to standard! It takes a lot of work and dedication to make sure that we bring the best products to the consumer.
This year is especially exciting because we are introducing a NEW line of digital pianos! It’s important for us to bring the most innovative products to the market when it comes to pianos. We not only want to make our products FUN but EDUCATIONAL too. Schoenhut’s motto has always been “Mark Well the Name”. We are tranisitioning over to a new mantra where we not we not only bring you exceptional products that you can pass down to generations to come but are also educational. Enhancing our current models to include a digital features brings us to the next level of performance where we can “Mark Well, Learn Well, Play Well.”
