A Toy Piano Christmas

It’s that time of year again!

Time to decorate the Christmas tree, drink hot cocoa by the fire and watch A Charlie Brown Christmas! We’re honored to be able to say the Peanuts’ creator Charles Schultz reached out to the owners of Schoenhut Piano Company when he introduced Schroeder’s now famous mini piano. The purpose of the correspondence was to establish that the likeness of our mini grand model would be used in the now iconic comic strip.  As a spitting image of our mini grand model, we’re always thrilled when that little virtuoso Schroeder appears on our TV sets with his sidekick piano.
Even more exciting than catching Snoopy and Schroeder on TV is when we find our own Schoenhut fans uploading photos and videos inspired by the classic images Schultz created. Mychaela Bardakjy posted this adorable video of her little girl doing her best Snoopy impression complete with the Charlie Brown Christmas tree a top her Schoenhut piano. We seriously can’t get enough!
